I’ve found success by living life with and adventurer’s mindset - always looking for new challenges, being comfortable with uncertainty, and preparing to cope with the unexpected.

My agency career started at Initiative as an analyst. That was when I first started working on ‘Customer Journeys’ - although we didn’t call them that at the time. As much as I loved the strategic rigor, I longed to have a hand in making things and creating novel experiences for brands.

 

I joined Brand New World in 2005 as employee number 5. Our core belief was the primacy of brand and storytelling. Our mission was to help clients transition storytelling through the myriad devices and platforms that were proliferating. It was an exciting and dynamic time and we saw the agency swell to over 30 people.

 

In 2010 I joined DOMANI Studios as it was transitioning from agency production studio to a client-oriented digital agency and consultancy. I led DOMANI's relationship with Starwood Hotels and helped institute processes around our approach to strategy and UXD that allowed us to scale the business quickly. 

 

My next two stops at Iris and Initiative (again) taught me to how operate at scale. I worked on many global brands, learned the finer points of managing large multi-disciplinary teams, and navigated the rigors of financial planning and revenue forecasting.

 

2015 provided an opportunity to reunite with my DOMANI friends shortly after their acquisition by BBH. For brands like Marriott and Reuters I worked on a variety of digital business transformation engagements leading experience strategy, visual design, and engineering initiatives.

 

In my most recent position at HUGE, I had the good fortune of being challenged day-in and day-out by some of the most passionately focused professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure of working beside. I’ve taken with me a deeper appreciation for what’s possible when you commit to going beyond the basic ask of the brief and being relentlessly focused on designing for the user.

For the past 12 years I’ve lived at the edge of New York City’s northern suburbs, enjoying all that the Hudson Valley has to offer.

 

When I’m not logging miles training for an upcoming trail race or half-marathon, my wife and I are desperately trying to divert our 3 small children from seemingly endless missions of mischief and (occasionally-destructive) adventures of their own.
